Beckett.Com Marketplace shipping

There are a couple of cards I was looking to buy on Beckett, price in the $3-4 buck range before shipping. I added one of them to my cart. The CHEAPEST option to ship, using uninsured first class mail, was $4.82. What is going on? How is that even possible? All of a sudden it's almost a $9 card. Is this typical of Beckett?

I don't think so, I just bought a $5 card and paid 2.25 uninsured first class

Ok, that's good to know. I've seen reasonable shipping rates on COMC and Sportlots. Perhaps this is an isolated seller on Beckett really trying to make up fees or increase his bottom line. Ridiculous though, as he just lost my business.

Yeah, that is crazy. Sportlots overall still has cheaper shipping than COMC and Beckett.
