I am a regular vistor to the beckett market place, I browse alot and find some good stuff sometimes at decent price and some not so decent but it got me woundering how safe is it ordering on their site? Cause I see they accepted credit card but I am unsure and want any feedback on if anyone had problems ordering on beckett?

ive ordered a few cards off there without any big issues. they accept paypal too, which is what i use. Ive never had anything go wrong, so im sure how helpful they would be if something you buy never shows, since it has never happened to me. ive picked up a few good cards on there at decent prices

I have worked for 2 marketplace dealers and both ship out the same day of the order and if they don't have a card anymore of they see damage they delete it and you are automatically refunded for that card

They have a SSL certificate


It's as safe as other sites you use a credit card on.

I tried to buy there twice and failed both times. Seller claimed they no longer had the items. The last time was for some Bowman Draft boxes. I bought like eight boxes and paid right away. A few days later he refunded my money since the box price had gone up on eBay. I haven't tried since.

I've had this happen as well on a few occasions. Sometimes the stuff they had 'out of stock' was priced really low, which would make me want to buy other stuff from their store...so sometimes it helps to be wary of the ol' bait-and-switch.

But otherwise I've gotten some really great deals there.

I would say it is safer than buying on ebay if paying via paypal. The reason I say this is because your paypal payment goes to Beckett and not the seller. So if the seller doesn't send, screws up your order, or sends damaged cards, you file a claim through Beckett. Being that they did not send the order to you, they have to get all of the proof from the seller to fight the claim. So I assume Beckett keeps their sellers somewhat honest or they are losing out on money and time fighting paypal claims. Just my two cents.

My only complaint is that they use becketts address instead of paypals. I bought an item for $50 there several years ago. Before doing so I updated my shipping and billing address on the site. Apparently there is a marketplace address as well.

So when I did not receive the card I asked the seller who gave me the dc which was an old address. Probably could have pressed it with paypal, but figured it was my mistake.
