I recently submitted a card to beckett, and received it back a few days ago. the subs were 8.5, 9.5, 9.5, 8.5. Shouldn't that be a 9.0?? Or because there is 2-8.5 it drops?? I emailed beckett a few days ago with no response. Any info would be appreciated. Thx

The final grade isn't simply the average of the subgrades but rather the calculation of an algorithm they use to determine the final grade. To achieve a 9 overall you would need (3) subgrades of 9 or better along with an 8.5 or (3) 9.5 or 10 subgrades and an 8.

It's not about average. Two 8.5s equal an 8.5. Just like if you got a 10, 10, 9, 9 it would be a 9.

Thanks for the info! Really appreciate it. Thought it was overall average, but that makes sense.
