It takes no effort to buy a card and flip it. Actually collecting is more impressive.
Coming from the big guy himself!

It would be so hard to tell sell it. And risk not getting it back or having something better to buy of lincy

It'll feel even worse if you decide to sell it down the road and it only gets 1/5 of what they are pulling now. You should sell it soon and buy back later. You don't want to be posting in one of those "Sold to late" threads down the road.

I'm happy for you and everything, but...

1) That card in my opinion wasn't a 9.5
2) That card certainly was not a True Gem if a 9.5
3) There is no way it should have gotten a 10 Surface

But, never the less congratulations on the great addition to your collection. Glad I am not buying/collecting anymore.

I didn't see anything wrong with the surface, was there a scratch or a bubble?

if you actually are a true fan of someone in my eyes and want to collect them money shouldn't be your main concern.

Grading is more lax now, my Buchholz was not a 9.5 but graded that. The larger moderns cards will be easier grades.

If i thought it was a 9.5, I would have sent it in. I'm glad DRock has it, cause he deserves it. But, I just question grading and the point of it all.

Sometimes with high end cards I send them in even if I think they are a BGS 9 at best. You really don't have much to lose and you get great protection for $10. Sometimes it works out. Just depends on the grader.

I'd put up the Non True Gem on BIN/BO at $3,000 or $3,500. Take a nice offer if you get one.

DO NOT sell one of those to a bidder outside of the U.S.

nice cards for the lincy collector. Out of curiousity how many times did you resubmit before you got them bumped to gem mints?

I sold one of my Tulo Gold Refractor BGS 9's to a buddy and he resubmitted it a couple of times for a 9.5.

Graded cards are an absolute joke. The fact that you can resubmit a card in a case for a "2nd opinion" is simply stupid.

I have another BGS 9 with the exact same subs and my buddy was like, oh, that won't get bumped because the centering wasn't as good. I was thinking, he'd just have to submit it one extra time.

While I typically don't care for BGS for my PC, anything I am looking to sell I want in BGS. Its usually good for a 1.5x multiplier no matter the card on resale.
