Got a chance to see Belt play here in Fresno last night, Grizzlies beat Albuquerque 15 to 10, Edgar Gonzalez, Adrian Gonzalez' brother, went deep twice and Belt hit a three run shot. Hopefully Belt can add some power to the terrible Giants offense. Fun game we sat two rows up by the Grizzlies dugout. Here's a couple of pics of Belt I took with my phone.

The most impressive thing at the game was Gonzalez, he went 4 for 5 with 2 HR and 5 RBI. For the life of me I don't understand why the Giants didn't call him up instead of trading for Cabrera. He's spent time with SD in the past and he's hitting lights out right now in Fresno.

thank goodness Belt is gone - Ely pitched a great game tonight and the Topes were able to take a win without Belt being a threat in the lineup.

Of course didn't hurt either that Zito got hurt again and only lasted 2+ IP.

Swing and a miss.....strike 3 :D

Yup, not the homerun swing. I didn't know we were sitting so close or I would have taken a better camera. My wife surprised me with the upgraded tickets.

The Grizzlies have been terrible for most of the season so it was nice to see a lot of runs scored.

Hopefully, he can get some more consistent at-bats with the Giants. What a game. Good to see Vogelsong recover from his worst outing of the year also.

He should be stealing starts from Huff - at least 40% of the time. Huff just looks slow this year.

agreed. of course, i havent seen huff play much and he does seem to hit but what the giants need are run producers and just like what buster did last year, they can have belt go out and show what he's made of

kid looks like a real deal (and im not speaking bc he hit 2 bombs today. lol. great hitting stroke, good eye at the plate, etc)

hopefully he gets regular starts and the giants transition huff to be that vet/mentor for the team...with them trailing a hot diamondbacks team, they need that extra offense
