PLEASE O' PLEASE let the Bengals play to thier potential tonight (if the play thier starter's & truly value that 3rd seed- which I believe is the spot they're playing for since the Texans beat the Pats today- then they should be able to beat the Jets IMO)!!!

Tonight the Bengals have more than just Cincy fan's watching & praying that they win... ALL OF HOUSTON IS WITH YOU GUY'S!!!

Let's GO BENGALS (finger's are crossed to the point they are blue  )!!!! :grouphug: :D

Texans could be a real threat in the playoffs if they make it. I'm pulling for Cincy tonight :)

Houston always is a threat if... That seems to be their problem. They have loads of talent on that team. Way too much talent to be 9-7/

Sorry, I just can't see the Jets losing this game considering the circumstances. Better luck next year Texans.

I need Cincy to put up big points and take care of the ball. It's the only shot I have at the overall points title in my fantasy league, for the Jets DST to do nothing. I could use $250...

I agree after watching the game thus far, it's as if the Bengals aren't trying (maybe they'd prefer to host the Jets next week instead of the Texans? ;) )....I know I'd honestly rather play the Texans in a playoff game than the Jets (IMO the combination of the Jets offensive line, running game, & defense is quite a bit more intimidating than the Texans passing game; regardless of how great that passing game is)! :D

It's kinda shocking when comparing the production of each offense thus far in this game that the Jets aren't ahead by alot more! :? ::facepalm::

I never really expected the Texans to come out of this weekend being in the playoffs (it was a pretty huge longshot given the circumstance's), but I do like how the Texans seem to improve each year...Maybe next year?!?! :D

If I'm a Bengals fan I gotta be wondering why Carson Palmer and Ocho is still on the field at this point. :?

This is garbage, the Jets are simply outplaying them. They're KILLING Cincinnati in every facet of the game and if they show up next week like they did this week, they're going to beat them again. If the Jets can put Sanchez in a position to control the game and limit his passes over the middle I love their chances next week.

Just a side note - the Bengals are playing without Cedric Benson in. Not that it would turn this into a Cincy win, but it would change the game a bit. Chad85 also hurt himself before the game when he slipped.

Did you give any thought that the Bengals went into this game planning on allowing the Jets to win (being that they would be able to watch the Jets perform while learning thier strength's & weaknesse's, obtain great film room footage to study, learn thier defensive scheme's while also seeing how they react to thier own defensive play-calling, & so much more)? The outcome could've been:
1) They win & the Texans come out to Cincy to play them, whom they are not accustom to playing & haven't seen much on offense or defense of them (especially when playing against them, they have no clue how the Texans would come out & react to thier plays or how they should react in order to neutralize the Texan offense).

or

2) They lose & the Jets come out to Cincy to play them, whom they just saw all of thier reaction's, scheme's, play's, etc; up close & personal. Not only do they get to watch film of them playing against the Jets but they also can discuss amongst eachother what everyone saw & the transition's that were being made during the pace of the game. They also made sure to give the Jets ZIPPO to study (as most of that game could've played out just as the Bengals coaching staff wanted it to, they could've threw all kinds of plays that they never use or have no intention of using). Now when the Jets come marching in to Cincy, over-confident from the "thumping" they just gave the Bengals the week before, & all studied up on the junk play's/scheme's that the Bengals have no plans on using; they'll have a false sense of supremacy as the Bengals planned on them doing this all along....

Now I'm not saying the above is what happenned, but couldn't that have been a probability of what occurred? I mean, the Bengals weren't even playing thier #1 RB (Benson) & for a defense that was ranked #2 OVERALL in the NFL against the rush to give up close to 300 yards rushing...isn't that just a bit peculiar (do you really believe S.Greene & T.Jones are that good/special)?

Anyhow, just some food for thought as I think this upcoming game between the Bengals & Jets will be a horse of a different color! The Jets better not allow themselves to let that game mean anything more than what it was (IMO the Bengals were holding a scrimage/practice against the Jets to get a feel for them for week 1 of the playoff's)! ;) :D

OH & P.S. I hope the Jets beat the piss out of the Bengals for mailing it in this week when the Texans needed it most!

Oh, I fully could see the Bengals mailing it in, like the Colts did last week.

Doesn't matter. Houston should have won one more game.
