The Charlotte Observer reports that Henry fell out the back of a pickup truck in an incident precipitated by a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, and that police found him in the road with life-threatening injuries.
According to the report, Henry jumped into the bed of his girlfriend's truck as she left a Charlotte-area residence, then "came out" the back of the vehicle at some point.
Yup that's what I've been seeing too. CBSSports reported he was dead a few hours ago, but have since taken it down...Snyper said:Apparently he is in critical and on life support.

Well, I never like to see someone seriously injured, but this certainly doesn't surprise me. He's not a very bright individual.

No, he's not. I just don't have sympathy for him. There are better ways to handle things than to jump into the bed of a pickup truck while someone is speeding away, especially during a domestic dispute. I don't wish injury or bodily harm on anyone, but people that this stuff happens to more often than not bring it upon themselves.

Oh nice, you're collecting Raffy now huh? I was a big 90's Orioles fan growing up with Rip, Brady, Raffy and the rest.
An already dire situation involving Bengals receiver Chris Henry, who reportedly is on life support after falling out of a pickup truck on Wednesday, has an even more ominous feel, now that a report has emerged that homicide detectives have launched an investigation regarding the incident.
The term homicide implies that a loss of life was involved. In this case, it's easy to interpret the development as a belief by the authorities that Chris Henry isn't likely to make it.
Regardless of how the situation turns out, it's a tragedy that comes only nine days before Christmas, and it will dramatically impact the lives of his three small children. Taco Bill found this link to the hard copy of an October 2009 newspaper article regarding Henry, including a picture of Henry with his three-year old daughter, Seini, his two-year-old son, Chris Jr., and his 10-month-old DeMarcus.
We know that Henry made his share of mistakes, both with the Bengals and at West Virginia University. But he had matured before our eyes over the past year, and his progress should be an inspiration to anyone who hopes to break a cycle of bad choices in their own lives.
So please pray tonight for Chris -- and also pray his three children.
