Quiroz was actually in triple A, then got demoted to AA to make room for Moore after Clement's knee swelled up again.

The Mariners have essentially "retired" Burke.

what do you base this on?


I have seen him quite a few times, and although I will agree that he has made progress, I find it difficult to believe anyone thinks he will ever be a plus defensive catcher.

His defensive ceiling is Brian McCann.
