Though the condition is not great, this is my favorite card to look at:

Favorite player; favorite set; a card that is representative of the concept of baseball cards. This is a scan of the actual card I used to keep in my desk in school, way back in '78. I love the color, the script "Twins", and the supercool All Star shield icon.

PS: this card was also a milestone of sorts for me. It was from the last year that all my friends traded cards. The next year (1979) we all entered that abyss known as junior high. While I continued to collect cards into high school, all my "cool" friends stopped. I was ridiculed a lot for still collecting (and for other reasons, too!), but maintained my card relationship til about 1984, when I stopped for a few years.

I love this card!

Couldn't agree more. Also loved the BACKS of the '78s and '79s for whatever reason. Plus its Carew.

Is it wrong to be completely biased and believe the in my current opinion, the best looking card in my collection is a custom?

That custom is awesome.

I love the colors and background of this Cobb and he has such a determined look, typical Cobb.

This is one of my favorites...

I have been thinking for a while of selling off my prospects and just working on putting together a NASTY collection of these

You can't really see it in the scans, but the details in the uniform almost come off of the cards.
