when looking at cards for submission, whats the best low end magnifying glass?

do you mean best bang for your buck on ebay, or are you talking about the ebay bucks program?

I don't claim to have the best eyesight, but I have subbed 300+ this year and don't own a loupe and have not had any problem.

I don't think it is necessary.

What does make a difference.....halogen lighting. Picks up every imperfection possible on the surface.

My wife is an optometrist so I steal her lenses to grade my cards! ;)

And I agree the lighting is key. There used to be a video on the PSA website that walked through their grading process. I think you can find it here: http://www.psacard.com/grading/process.chtml There was a shot of one of their graders at work- dark work area, bright light, etc... and since seeing that it has helped me out a lot and we seem to agree most of the time.

they also have a video on youtube. i dont sub much but i dont think you need one. but if your like the op and sub alot it i probobly worth 6.00
