Very nice on the True Gem!

Now you can sell that to fund slabbing the Blue Refractor set!

Not slabbing the set, A, its too large, and B I dont want half the set gem, the other half 9 then itll look awful LOL

Sorry to hear you feel that way.

I think the 9.5 Porcello would be worth about $250-$300. You have to remember that these cards sell for about $100 raw, so I feel like most people would rather simply buy 5 or 6 or 9 raw copies than drop a ton of money on a 9.5. Yes it is very nice and will command a premium (especially with a 10 auto), but we have to be realistic about what a 9.5 card is worth, and then factor in the idea that it is a very tough grade to get for this card.

Very nice.

thats why I am debating the 350, because I think logically like what you posted, but others are saying it should get a big premium

Edit- Well obviously I'm wrong with my above post if someone offered $350 (which I think is crazy). I think you would be crazy not to take an offer of 350% what the card sells raw. Seriously consider what a normal card would sell with the 9.5 premium on it (usually 150%-200%? depending on the card of course) and then factor in a little extra because it is a tough grade for an AFLAC, but I really believe that $350 is a ton of money for this card and I think I'd have a hard time not accepting an offer like that, knowing what I typed in this post and my last one.

Obviously he could still blow up because of the way he plays this season, causing the card's value to increase further, but if we're talking about right now and its current raw value, 350 is a tough offer to leave on the table.

Take the $350, and buy 3 more. If ricky does well it would be more profitable.

We shall see about that....

If there end up being 3-4-5 of these 9.5 w/10 I would disagree.

Would people rather have a 52 mantle BGS 9? Or 3 beat up 52 mantles?

I realize they aren't the same thing, but the condition sensitivity can't be forgotten.

Did you pull the card yourself?

Even as a total slab head, i cant see you not selling it. $350 is a lot of beans

Considering there are already 3 of the 9.5 w/10, I dont think its going to be anywhere near as rare as people originally thought. Still will command a premium, but turning down $350 right now would be crazy, IMHO.

As far as my knowledge goes, there are only (2) with BGS 10 Autos, I could be wrong, but that is all that I have seen.

Look a little closer.... that is NOT the case.

There are (2) BGS 9.5 w/10 auto, and (1) Bgs 9.5 w/9 auto.

That is the other part that makes this grade so difficult is the amount of 9 autos that will be given out.

Thanks for the opinions. I still have a good amount of time to accept the offer so I'll see if any other offers come in.

Thanks
Tom
