Best Pitching 1-2 Punch

After seeing the offensive thread, thought i'd make the pitching thread.

I think Lincecum/Cain can't be touched right now...

#2 and #3 in ERA. 2 strong candidates for the cy and the all star game start!

I like Lincy/Cain, but I LOVE Beckett/Lester..I still believe Lester will be the best pitcher in baseball in 2 years.

It is nearly impossible to compare with the difference in leagues playing a MAJOR role..I think Beckett/Lester are more talented than Lincy/Cain, and would put up other-worldly numbers in the NL West.

We'll see on July 14 (When lincecum and cain take on AL's best), my birthday haha.

Oh and the NL West has the top two records in the NL, Dodgers and giants. The best teams in the NL currently.

Yeah playing against some stiff competition in the NL, whats the combined record of the rest of the NL west?

Not to sound like a homer, and will probably get flamed for it but its Beckett and Lester right now or maybe even Beckett and your AL All-Star starter Tim Wakefield!

Lincy and Cain hands down.

People don't understand how good Cain's stats in the past 3 years have really been, because of the fact he lost more games than he won in 2 of those 3 years. However I'm willing to bet 2/3 of those losses were from games he allowed 1-3 runs over 6+. He just had not been getting run support over that time period which killed his record but not his ERA, and I think people just do not see that from Cain.
