Not wanting info as a prospector ( making money in a hurry )...My son was made a catcher this year ( 10yrs old) and he has had fun throwing kids out and making the ALL-STAR team :)...Of course being a DODGER fan he loves RUSS MARTIN...

what I want to do is start collecting a good cheap prsoepct incase I can get him into wanting to get in the hobby with me more down the road...

I now Wieters , Santana< Poesy are out there, just out of the price range right now...what other kids are out there for a good deal..

thnx for any info

JP Arencibia is a pretty good prospect. And his stuff is still pretty reasonable.

Wilson Ramos. His hitting numbers are a bit down this year, but they'll come back up and from what I understand he is excellent behind the plate.

He's good enough that a lot of people think he'll move Mauer out from behind the plate.

We just had this exact thread about a week ago and most people said Montero with a bunch of us liking JP.

Tyler Flowers, even though he might be moved to First Base at some point but so will Jesus and most big time hitting power prospects to prolong their careers...I also agree that JP arenciebia would be a good one as well.

I would say Arencibia. He's not dirt cheap, but he's probably undervalued and is a very talented player.

as a dodger fan, why not go after tony delmonico? he was drafted as a SS and moved behind the plate this season. he has put up good offensive numbers thus far and he is really cheap.

2007 Ogden SS .340 11 39 w/ 20-2b 1.159ops
2008 Great Lakes LoA .276 5 24 w/ 12-2b .800ops
