I agree but 08 and 09 both have sterling autos the year before, so those aren't rookie autos.

i guess lol, both sell very high. An Ultimate ichiro hit like 2300 and didn't sell beacuse reserve too low, so it may be higher then the pujols chrome autos?!

Those two cards are probably the best 2 RC autos of the 2000s, no problem with there being two for 2001.

I don't think you can make a retrospective list on 2008 yet, I think to do that the players have to prove something in the majors.

I don't think the Mauer has the same kind of value as the Wright does. Didn't the Wright also sell consistently for over or around 500 at one point? Wouldn't that make it a much more important auto for '02?

For your last post, the Howard BB's are not selling for more than Hanley Chrome's consistently. A different argument would have been made a year or two ago, but the last 3 Hanley Chrome's went for $184.99 BIN (PSA 9), $136.50, and $169.76.

The last 4 Howards are $151.25, 159.50, $198 (BO) BGS 9, and $142.50.
