Beware ebay seller aislin, fake patch ??

I received this card in a PWE for starters after paying $3 for "secure and guaranteed shipping", then after removing the card, it was not shipping damaged, but it was creased from the top of the card all the way down to the trapped auto. The jersey was obviously tampered with and appears to have scotch tape behind it. I don't get why someone would bother for a $5 card? I contacted the seller telling him it would be a MUCH nicer card had it not been tampered with and no way could he not notice that, he made no comments other than he would refund, after I told him it was not worth mailing back to Canada IMO. I told him great I would like a refund...cool. Next day he messages back that he would now like me to send the card back before he will refund. I'm now wondering if the auction pic was doctored since there is no sign of the crease, see auction link and my scan.

I am generally very easy going and willing to work with people, but requesting a return when I'm certain he knew what he was selling advertised as "one of the nicest inserts I have seen in a while. Very colorful and in mint condition so get it while you can." has all but made up my mind to fire a NEG at him. Tool! I know it's only $8, but who knows what will happen to the next guy.

Neg him.

Even if it was some yahoo customs agent and not him that tampered with it, he sent in a PWE. Thats asking for it to be damaged / messed with. He did not follow through, not even close to, what was described in the description.

I would tell him he gets a negative if he doesn't refund you right away. You can't prove that you shipped the card back to him without delivery confirmation, which would cost you close to double what you paid for the card. That scan had to be Photoshopped.

The jersey swatch might be real. I have at least one hockey swatch from Ultra (I think) that is a mesh part and you can see/feel the sticky double sided taper used to hold the swatch down.

Sucks that he mailed it in a PWE. If he doesn't refund send a neg.

It's funny, it doesn't seem like a jersey patch you would go out of your way to put in there, I think he attempted to put something else in it and failed. It's creased up on the front around the jersey, but the back of the card is fine so it wasn't bent or damaged in shipping.
