Why?

It has to do with who the original card belonged to, where it was graded, what made this one a "10" and how it made it to auction. Add in that its Beckett, and well, thats usually enough for me to cast all my suspicion their way.

Well, what is the back story, as opposed to just saying there is a back story.

Its waaaaaay too long to type out. In short, the original "anonymous" guy had a relationship with Beckett and used his relationship for a grade bump. They helped him with advertising the card, in turn helping BGS too with publicity, and eventually he sold it for the price of a mid range car. Since then it has changed hands a few times, with the final card ending up in the hands of the guy in the picture.

Plus, if one of us cracked it for some reason, sent it in, and had it graded, do you REALLY think it would come out a 10? Chances are that it wouldnt. This is not saying there arent any 10s done from other people who have no relation, but as I said before:
