I know most members here are baseball fans, so they probably haven't followed these PMG Jordan cards until recently, and they more than likely have a jaded idea/opinion on the validity of the auction prices these things have been bringing lately due to these multi-page conspiracy theory threads, but coming from someone who used to have the damn Beckett memorized as a kid from cover to cover (I don't anymore because I don't give a **** about what they price), these prices aren't that hard to believe. The green versions back then were confirmed to have exchanged hands at $12K-$15K. As for the reds, I can't really remember off hand, but all of Jordan's parallels /100 or less (throw in the Legacy Collection's /150 too) have always been 4 figure cards (the 97/98 Skybox Star Rubies /50 probably being the next best parallel as it consistantly sold in the $2K-$3K range). To actually see a PMG red copy graded 9.5 is utterly amazing considering that this is one of the most condition sensative parallel sets of any set produced in the 90's, even more so that the Fleer Ultra Platinum Medallion sets which were also notoriously known for chipped edges. I'd love to see this card at auction, but at the same time if I were given a choice, I would stupidly prefer a green version BGS 7 or better condition, because it truely is a holy grail of Jordan cards.
