Happy that no cards got lower than a 9.

funny how BGS can print out a label with the grade and serial number but have to handwrite like a kindergatner the auto grade.

I assume the graded label decals are already printed (in a roll?) and the BGS guy just uses the correct one for each card.

The auto grade is left blank for handwriting because there are too many combinations of autograph to card grades to print those. It's much more efficient to print a roll of 10 grades, 9.5s, 9s, etc. instead of dozens of potential combinations of card and auto grades.

At least that is what would make sense at a card shop or busy card shows, where there are lines of people with hundreds or thousands of cards to be graded that day.
