I think I did pretty well. I also have another bgs submission coming back late this week. A lot of red in that submission, hoping it does well. Also hoping I have time to scan all of these and show them off!
Will post the pics as soon as I scan them, if someone wants a certain card, I could probably get that one scanned before I put them all up....

Problem is, that I am not at my house. I have my scanner, but my scanner disk that uploads the program is not with me. I can still scan it, I'm pretty sure, but the colorings is significantly off.... The Garza looks GREAT!!! that and the Matzek Super were the 2 that I REALLY cared about....

No offense man, but this is what is wrong with BGS right now... they get a huge submission of high end cards from a familiar member and give out all 9.5s/10s... Im not saying that none of them were deserved, just that this clearly shows how biased BGS is... congrats though and sick cards

Hey man, before you go off ranting about this or that, realize that I graded more cards than those posted. Those were just the good ones. Just because all I post is the 9.5's, doesn't mean BGS handed them to me. Ask others how it went in San Antonio this weekend. Most guys were around 25-35% 9.5 or higher. I don't think they gave out anything. If your theory is correct, then 9.5's wouldnt bring in the good money, people would look for psa or sgc gems, and we call know that is DEFINITELY not the case. Beckett is THE top grading company for modern cards, and you don't earn that by giving out gems and pristines.

This is a silly post.


When someone has sent many submissions in, they learn how to weed out the imperfect cards and only send in the gems.

If you send them gem mint cards, you will receive gem mint grades, regardless if its your first time or not.

This is coming from someone who grades once every 5 years.

Congrats on all the nice grades! Lots of high end cards being graded that day, especially the Harper Red. Wish I could have submitted more cards but was still happy with the outcome.

Thank you!! That was probably the most accurate post I have seen in awhile now. It's not that hard to figure out. I loupe all of my cards with a 15X and BGS only uses 10x, and if I find a couple small flaws, I just don't grade it.. You deserve a medal for that post..
