I know next-to-nothing about grading, and I know there are some GREAT grading experts on these boards.

I forgot I had these. I really only collect Gwynn, but I do have stashes of cards here and there from 35 years of collecting.
I honestly do not like graded cards, but I did have these done years ago, thinking they were all BGS 10's, (so I am not good at grading! ::facepalm:: )

My question is, is it worth keeping these in graded form? Should I try to regrade them to "bump" them? I am not saying I need to keep these, so yes, I may try to trade them down the road for Gwynn cards... Are any of these worth anything??

Very "common" grades on the 4 Baseball cards (for those specific cards) and none of those grades are gonna have a positive impact on the pricing of those cards. As far as the Kobe and Faulk cards i dont have enough experience with graded copies of those cards to give you a definite answer.

The surface grade on the KOBE is the result of leaving the plastic coating on the card. Those should be sent in without the coating [it peals off]. I made that mistake early in my grading experience. I would break that one out and peal and resubmit. It probably would get a 9 grade. all the others are common as it has been stated. Those SP die-cuts are tough grades. I found an Arod Die-cut just the other day in a box and noted it had edge chipping. Not really worth sending to BGS unless I send it for authentication.

The Griffey would be a $25 card in that holder. Selling raw would get almost the same amount. Centering will keep that card from bumping above 8.5.

Centering on the Vlad will likely keep the card from getting a bump but a bump to 9 would not be unrealistic. Unfortunately there is no money to be made even with a bump. I'm guessing that is a $10-$15 card.

Helton is too off center to get any bump. That is perhaps a $5 card.

Same centering problems on the Jeter and no bump expected. The 1993 Bowman set was atrocious for centering. Well centered Jeter cards are very hard to find and fetch solid premiums, likewise with Topps from the same year. The card would probably fetch $15-$20.

The Faulk card could bump to a 9 if the corners were hit too hard in the last grading but a bump will not secure much in the way of additional sale value. I sold a mint 9 copy last year for just under $20. An 8.5 may sell in the $10-$15 range.

The Kobe has the best chance of a bump but you will have to remove the surface peel to take advantage. I'm guessing the surface would be a 9 or 9.5 without the peel and the overall card may even have a shot at gem with a bump on edges or corners. This is the only card I'd attempt to bump but without the peel. I suspect a peeled gem would sell for considerably more than an unpeeled 8.5. Worse case you get a peeled 9 which should still get your money back. You will have to crack the slab yourself to take advantage.

I still have some of my graded cards from my earliest subs ten years ago. I luv the early BGS label. The first card that got all 9s was actually the same Helton. I would keep them as a reminder.
