Thanks to Jeff Masters for the heads up.

For May, Beckett Grading is offering a Service Level Upgrades on each card you submit for grading. This offer allows you to select the service level of your choice and pay for the service level right below the one you want. The amount you save depends on the number of cards you submit!

Offer Code: “UPGRADE0513

For example, submit your ten cards under our 20-day service level (normal price is $12 per card) and you will pay for the 45-day service ($11 per card). This saves you $10 on your submission.

*Cannot be combined with any other coupon, discounted offers, or promotion. Offer does not apply to BGS/JSA submissions, onsite grading, or the BCCG services. Offer valid for all new orders submitted between 05/01/13 and 05/31/13 and cannot be applied to orders that were previously submitted or are in the possession of Beckett Grading currently. Offer Code: “UPGRADE0513.” All orders must be postmarked by 05/31/13 and contain the promotion code listed above in order to receive the discount. Customer is responsible for return shipping, insurance, and surcharges, including autograph surcharges on certified autograph cards. Regular prices, surcharges, and service levels can be found at Beckett.com or on any BGS submission form. Contact BGS Customer Service at 972-448-9188, [email protected], or see Beckett.com for submission forms or for more information.MAY 2013

Anyone know if you have to sub 10 cards or if its just using that number to show a round number savings of $10?

Wow.... this is cool. I'm going to a show in Dallas this weekend where they'll have a table and doing those quick grades on your cards... I've heard you can do that and if you like the grade, you can send it in and that'll be the grade you get... if you don't like the grade, just cut it out of the temp grade thing and you're on your way.

I will probably take advantage of this promo... thanks!!

But you end up paying twice. You pay like $7 or whatever for the RCR, then you have to pay again for whatever slabbing service you do. They also don't guarantee the RCR to be the slabbed grade, though it almost always is

Very good point... but I will say for those, like me, who are sensitive to the actual grade (for example, if you want a 9 or better) then this is a good route to go I guess. Then again, I didn't know it's not guaranteed to not be the same... that's not what they told me. Anyways, good point. I am totally new to grading, I appreciate the comment.

Pretty sure if you turn RCRs back in for slabbing at the show you'll get the grade. If not, they can't be sure no tampering occurred.

Looking for Albert Belle cards! PM me!

They aren't doing Raw Card Review this weekend, they are only accepting submissions to take back to their offices. You can not get the quick grade at the show this weekend.
