I literally waited at home all day to receive this package. Because of the contents, I was not willing to leave the house and risk missing the delivery guy. I don't think you guys would have left either.

The Ted Williams actually has an interesting story. You can read it here: http://cardboardicons.com/2011/01/08/vindicated-the-story-of-a-vintage-rookie-and-a-fake-signature/

The Williams was raw ... the others were graded by other companies. I wanted them slabbed by BGS for my PC.

That's an incredible mailday. :o You are right that I would have waited all day too. Like another poster said, I probably would have driven them to Texas and back.

Wow - those are amazing! I like the strength and girth of the BGS holder myself as well. Plus the sub-grades are neat.

How do you take them out of the former slab?

BGS doesn't give sub grades on cards 1980 and earlier.

You can crack off the corner of any old slab and then use a screw driver to carefully cry open the remainder of the case.
