BGS Order from the 2010 National - SUPER results!

I submitted 19 cards at the 2010 National and they finally arrived back today. I knew some of the results, but wanted to wait on posting them until I saw the order in full.

Some were MG 9 and others were MG 9.5. In total, 13/19 were slabbed, with one being AUTHENTIC slabbed for Gilmore. Enjoy!

That Manny SPx Gold is super. A 9.5 on those is pretty amazing. The Dommer Contenders is sweet too. Tough grade.

Congrats on the grades but why did you authenticate the Purke card? It's a card from a well known company. It's a great card just curious as why you would authenticate it?

Congrats on the grades but why did you authenticate the Purke card? It's a card from a well known company. It's a great card just curious as why you would authenticate it?

The Purke patch/auto actually belongs to Gilmore now. I sold it to him and he decided to have it slabbed AUTHENTIC for protection purposes. Also, the patch is a "flag" patch, which always makes people skeptical these days.

Beckett and UD both confirmed it is indeed a real patch. Having it AUTHENTIC eases the mind in this crazy collecting world.

The Bauer super was listed a few months back for $250 BIN. A buddy (a member here) sent me the link and I snagged it.

Probably the #1 card I was looking for from the Chrome USA stuff. I also have a Red Refractor that cost $50, but it didn't meet MG on this order. I'll probably send it one more time.

Be on the lookout for my Bauer collection post. I plan to scan it all and show off my addiction/collection. :mrgreen:

That explains why I never saw any of the 1/1s or reds for a couple months after release. Seems like the only thing missing is the 1/1 flag patch. Can't wait to see your post.

That I cannot answer. But, I do know they turned away a couple cards from grading because of skeptical patches. Once the company rep confirmed them to be real, then they slabbed them.

It's a good thing if they are taking some caution with these.
