I forgot to tell you, I know Joe's schedule:

We’ll see in the next couple of weeks, as I’ve got 7 days in Cleveland, home for 7 days, then 5 in NY.

He is taking vacation when he gets back from the national.

they actually got a hold of me today.. i got a call from one of the BGS reps. he explained that the Top graders are at the National, and they want the best graders to look at teh Cobb piece.. would i mind if it was reviewed on monday and shipped Monday instead of the guaranteed turn around time of tomorrow.

so i guess i am getting their "top" graders

I would have told them I wanted whoever gives out the 9.5s.

So BGS has different quality graders? :?
Another reason why grading is a farce.

he told me they want to ID the item correctly, and the graders that can do that are at the National.

Yeah seriously, that's a pretty bass-ackward explanation that leaves me with even less faith in grading than I already had. By the way, I hope they're giving you a price concession...
