Ok, Ok....I believe you! lol

Let me know if it's still available, even though I snoozed before.

Coming up on 6 million slabs...

None of the Colliers went in?

None made the cut, usually due to bad centering. I've yet to see a perfectly centered specimen.

Coming soon - I also sent in a 2-card shipment to them, which should hopefully arrive at BGS any day now. I used a free grading voucher, which was redeemable for any turnaround option. Naturally I used 2-day service.

I sent in a Cameron Maybin AFLAC Auto and a Tommy Hanson Orange. I don't expect either to get 9.5's, but my fingers are crossed.

The Maybin was formerly in a PSA 9 holder.

JP A gem is a gem. This true gem stuff has really gone way too far. Congrats on the GEMS.

I concur. Until BGS starts requiring all 4 subs be 9.5 or better to receive a gem grade, I consider them true gems.

I, too, have the same Maybin in a PSA 9 slab I just bought off eBay and was planning to send it to BGS.Did you crack the Maybin or just send the slab? How much is it for BGS to crack a slab?BGS's slabs are so much more durable than PSA's.

I sent in over 50 cards to BGS, and while many of them came back gems, only a few were true gems. It's almost like they always found some minor imperfection to keep them from getting 9.5's all the way across the board.Corners usually seemed to get hit the hardest.
