BGS has "stolen" enough of my money. I like to keep everything uniform. I was about to cross over my SGC stuff to BGS, but they are a bunch of screw ups.

The same thing happened to me this week with my Pujols Fleer Legacy AU. I've left a couple of messages with them, but haven't gotten a chance to speak to anyone yet. They gave me a full refund.

Well, I've heard stories about those Pujols Legacy AU's, but I still think if they are unable to do anything with the card, they should refund your money. That's different than returning the card because of alteration evidence, etc. Waiting to see IF they even respond to my email or if they contact Eric.

I don't think it's much different. I know mine is authentic and my beef with BGS is they rejected it stating it was an non-certified (IP) autograph. I want to have the card graded but that will now cost $70 shipped for that one card, which is insane.

If it is non-certified, why not send it to JSA/BGS or PSA/DNA?

It is certified....if BGS was willing to do research (much like in your situation), they'd see the ways to differentiate between authentic copies and the fake ones. I'd like to get it encapsulated or graded to match the rest of my Pujols RC autos, but I'm not paying $70 for the case...that's insane.

$70? ouch. Well, soon as I get my cards back, I may be sending them to SGC.
