I got screwed on my top auction. I have my blocked bidder status set to (-1) or worse. I will now be changing that, and can no longer accept 0 feedback bidders without first being contacted by them.

Below is the information on the buyer. After seeing that a 0 feedback bidder bought my item, I sent an email asking if they would be paying. With no response, I called the seller and found that the number provided to ebay was not in service, and the mailing address did not exist. I'm sure he'll get NARU'd, but for the time, beware....He bid on 5 of my auctions. I offered a second chance, but with the 0 feedback, it looks like a shiller from the outside, so i retracted the second offer, and will just be relisting.

Bidder Information
Bidder: zachtan1998 ( 00 )
Feedback: 0% Positive
Item description: 2001 Bowman Chrome XFRACTOR JAKE PEAVY REFRACTOR RC SP!
Bids on this item: 2

30-Day Summary
Total bids: 54
Items bid on: 26

Bid activity (%) with this seller: 37%
Bid retractions: 0
Bid retractions (6 months): 0

I forwarded the information to ebay, and blocked this user from bidding. I did a quick search of other items the user bid on, and contacted other sellers, and was informed that this buyer was a non paying bidder.

If you were the second place buyer on this auction, does it look too suspicious to accept a second chance offer to you?

As the SELLER in this situation, if I put myself in the buyers shoes, I wouldn't trust the second chance either.

Lesson learned. Hope you all can block this clown before he gets you too!

You can't block zero feedback bidders.

About the only thing to do to avoid something like that is make immediate payment required.

Is this piece of crap located in Washington or Oregon?I had the same member win a auction of mine lastnight.I think it's a member from Topps.

Washington. I agree with the Topps part. Some immature kid.

His name is listed as Zachzary. 1998 is in the username. I assume its some kid named Zachary born in 1998 that couldn't even spell his real first name when registering.

I usually give them 48 hours to pay before reporting it. I had a 0 feedback bidder win a high priced item of mine over the summer and to my surprise, they paid within 10 minutes of the sale and the transaction was smooth as butter.

Crazy, but I have never had a problem with a 0 feedback bidder... I let anyone and EVERYONE bid on my stuff. I have started many a collector's eBay accounts and have never had a problem. So many are quick to see 0 feedback and not allow it... everyone has to start somewhere. ;)
