These arnt FREE cards for us.... they are for advertisment for the message board... hoping to draw more traffic to this board. The National is a nice event to really make this place grow.... I agree with all the others.... the FCB logo should be changed.

Is it wrong if I give thumbs up to a design or an idea involving a free card?
I agree that it's just a card but it was put out there so people can give opinions and give feedback before the final product was made.
I don't see a whole lot wrong with some of the constructive criticism and it seems like Mike is actually fine with people being specific with their suggestions/complaints.

I am not a card designer. It isn't my job to come up with a good design, it is the designers. It seems like a lot of people on this site like the design, I don't. I think it looks cheap, which it probably is. They're free so in the end it doesn't really matter, but if I was running this site I would want to "wow" collectors by giving them great looking cards if I could.

No one is asking you to design the cards. We're asking what elements of the card you don't like (besides the logo which is ugly and hard to read). You claim I'm being oversensitive but I honestly want to know what it is that you don't like. Simply saying "it's ugly" doesn't help anybody.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I am only 1 person and in the end my like or dislike of the design doesn't really matter, especially considering a lot of people on this site seem to like the design. They're free anyways.

I guess my biggest beef about the design is that they look like the 2008 cards that tristar gave away at the national which I ended up throwing away. They also remind me of cards team best used to make.
