What a great game by Glen "Big Baby" Davis last night

14 pts 9 rbs, 6 asst, 6 stl, and 3 blks.

Playing against Tyrus Thomas he held him to only 6 pts.

I didn't originally think Big Baby would last long in this league, but his game has improved a lot in only a short time in the NBA

He has developed the mid-range jumper which has really effected his entire game. He can now move without the ball and doesn't have to be that post up type player.

I was also very down on big baby for a while, but he has been doing fantastic. He might be the type of guy that needs minutes to get the flow of the game and really produce.

He's stepped up to guard guys like Duncan in KG's absence before, so it has me wondering if the Celtics could work a small lineup against Orlando at times to take Howard out of the game. If baby is playing center and staying out for his mid range it takes Howard out of the middle to allow Rondo/Pierce to drive.

He benefits big time from having Pierce, Allen and Rondo around him (obviously). But even going back to LSU, he had such great feet for a big guy, and he always impressed me.

I agree with everyone else in that his Mid-range jumper has help him termendously. Getting that Mid-Range jumper has pretty much secured him a Job in the Nba for as long as he hits it.

And I think he will see more minutes next year because it is unlikely Powe will play for the Celtics. He is going to be out most if not all of they year with his knee injury and he is a FA after this years playoffs so no one really knows if he will have a future with the Celtics
