I don't see the issue, I've always thought there were different "tiers" of players if you will with one tier aspiring to be as good as the other. I don't see why the top tier shouldn't protect its interests.

The "don't hate the player, hate the game" saying is very fitting here.

No one hates the players, we hate their union.

The issue is that the MLBPA association makes stupid decisions. I don't hate a single MLB player except for anyone on the Cubs roster and Alex Rodriguez.

Over/under 30 pages.

It's one thing to make a statement in a letter about an admission being made.

It's another for that statement to be proven to be true.

As Mr. Talley said earlier in this thread, I'll wait for a press release before passing judgment.

I've prefer UD over Topps and have always hated that Topps had a RC monopoly...I like Razor even more now that it seems that UD was taken the issue into their own hands.

I think this was alluded to even before razor's first products became public.

If this rumor has come to fruition, I've heard rumors of upper deck losing their baseball license as well. In fact, I hear the possibility of only one company making products for each sport, though I don't think it's a good idea. I think competition is a good thing to improve products to a certain extent.

I was very pro Razor, but I never bashed anyone for the UD link rumor...as I heard that when Razor had just announced they were getting into the baseball card business.

Why would anyone have egg on their face? People wanted proof and if this is real, then those who like to base their opinions on fact-based information and not rumor, now have it.

Here's something for everyone to consider.

If Razor is financed by UD, then why did their USA product suddenly go high-end? Seems as though that would be counterproductive to Razor's agenda.
