biggest card of the year comes home...Superfractor #8

I finally picked up my #1 most wanted non-RC or non-auto. Superfractors truly are a majestic parallel. I'm glad they essentially copied the rich pattern of the 97 Finest Silver refractors. Anyone who has held those cards know how nice they are. Post 97 Finest supers being embossed would have been nice but I digress. Superfractors have a polished-rock-like depth to them. It's a bit hard to describe, but supers certainly deserve to be the pinnacle of the Bowman/Chrome/Finest brand. The newest one below is the 2005 BC.

The back is a bit chewed up (from my standards), but the front certainly makes the 08 look like a pile of crap. :lol: It's hard to say it's better than the gold or blue but it is. Now I just need to find the 05 Topps Chrome super, which may rival this one.

Ah man, Supers are just awesome looking in person. I have four, but I must say the Bowman supers are the best looking.

Amazing collection of supers.

I wish I could locate a few more of Haf's Finest and Topps Chrome supers, but I'm sure they'll pop up someday. Congrats on #8!

Pretty much all Astros prices have come down in the past year or so. Half of it is the economy, the other half their lack of direction. Even Pence stuff has dropped this season and he's hitting .350 with a .955 OPS.

Wow that is a lot of supers! I have only seen 2 of Dan Haren and I own them both, 2006 & 2008 Bowman Chrome. I would love to add a Topps Chrome super of Haren but I have never seen one.

those 2005's are by far the best looking Supers. I would love to find the 2005 Bay.
