Hey, I'm a little stoked about what I was able to pick up and receive today. A member actually is responsible for me obtaining these, so thanks DL. I am more of a card/oddball type collector not a GU guy. However when I had the chance to land these items (A couple that I'd call irreplaceable and in the Holy Grail Class of Clark stuff) I knew I wanted. So here is my Mailday in order of OK to WOW. Thanks for looking, Ryan

1987 Season Game Used Inscribed "Thrill" Helmet. Also Signed/Gamer. This Helmet caused controversy because of the "swag" the 87 Giants had and here is a pic if an article from and opposing player. Neat part of Clark history.

Original Rookie 1986 Contract. I blocked out SS#. Signed twice, one in spot talking about obligations for hotel/food etc. And Full William Nuschler Clark Jr. Signature on Contract Approval part signed by NL President and Giants also. He was making 60k, another sweet Clark history piece.

Then my personal Holy Grail. Not sure there is a more meaningful Jersey out there (though the Olympic one would be sweet, or his first game one would be nice).

This is the only legit Home Game Work 1989 World Series Jersey. This was worn in both games during the Battle of the Bay World Series. With the history behind the earthquake, the fact that it was Wills only WS and coming off that NLCS which was great, I am honored to own this piece. This as well as the rest came out of the collection (Jerry Sage) who had a relationship with the Assistant GM, Will, and other members of the Giants organization. Some pics show the Photomatching, the SI Will signed to Jerry to take care of the Jersey as well as a pic showing Will Signing and Inscribing it as the 89 WS Gamer. I've learned that the Giants may actually want to borrow the Jersey for their WS display. After Will signed it word got back to them of its existence so will see if it goes there, but that would be sweet to loan it.

Anyway, I appreciate anyone who checked this out. Sorry for the rambling, but it was a good day to say the least. Like I said that as a Clark collector the history of the Helmet, Contract and Jersey are special and I'm happy to own these.

If your Will Clark collection was nothing except for those items it would still be one of the best out there. Those are some really cool pieces to see.

Damn Ryan! That's impressive. I think I like the provenance or the story behind the pieces/authenticity the most. Great scores!

Holy crap! Nice haul. There have been tons of G/U items posted in the forums but I think this lot is by far the best. Lots of early and historic pieces there.

How are you going to display it?

Hey guys, thanks for the nice words/compliments. It was very exciting to be able to land things like this that had some great background to them.

It also make me happy that the jersey wasn't cut up into some WS Relic set or something.

As of how I'm going to display, I don't have that figured out yet. When I think of something I'll post it up.

Anyway thanks for taking a look and/or posting it was a fun package to open yesterday.

Great pick ups Ryan, good to see that a Clark collector was able to acquire the jersey, the price must have been sky high.
