OK, this week's poll is the wins for Buffalo in 2009...

They've got the 2nd hardest schedule by opp. win percentage, and they play the tough NFC South, so I'm not optimistic for them. I really like Edwards, Lynch and Evans (BTW, 9 million for Evans? ). Anyway, let's see what you guys think...

Super tough schedule but the Bills addressed EVERY need this off season via free adjency or the draft.

Last year WR. depth was a prob. so they sign TO and James Hardy last year's #1 pick returns healthy. 3 top WR threats.

TE - 2008 ROBERT ROYAL SUCKS. 2009 bill draft one of if not the best receiving TE in the draft in Nelson. TE is now a weapon.

O-line last year stunk. Dumped out of shape and NFL leader in sacks allowed by a tackle, Jason Peters(addition by subtraction), and Dockery. Moved starting B. Butler RG to his true RT spot. Langston Walker to LT and so far has looked like a vast improvement over Peters. Dumped Fowler who was one of the smallest C' in league & signed Hangartner who is one of if not the most under-rated C's in the NFL and is phyical. Added the best C and G in the '09 draft. 2009 o-line is now a strength.

Trent is healthy, seasoned and is running a no huddle offence that allows him to dictate the attack, watch out. None of his passes in the two preseason games has hit the turf!!!

Bills now have two ball hawks at SS and FS and SS/LB Bryan Scott.
Last year the bills at one point had 2 healthy CB's. Currently the Bills are overstocked with CB's and may keep 7!

LB injuries had Keith Ellison starting, yuk! Via 2009(Maybin Harris) and the now healthy 2008 picks(Buggs, Bowen) the 2009 LB core is one of the most versitile in the AFC. \

D line, EVERY 2008 backup as well as Schobel missed significant time due to injuries. Again the 2008 picks are healthy and the addition of 2009 hybrid LB/DE Maybin take the double teams off of kelsey and schobel.

A new No Huddle offence, Upgraded weapons and o-line has the 2009 Bills O looking dangerous. Who do you double team?
A healthy defence basically has 2 full draft classes filling needed roles and the veterens are healthy and won't have to play every down.

A very young team but the vetern core leadership is still intact. The BILLS WILL SURPRISE ALOT OF TEAMS THIS YEAR.

I see a wild card spot with a 10-6 record as a very attainable goal. Super Bowl???? Maybe, but I dont' think I can take another 4 in a row but if I have to I will.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm pumped up about this years bills

J.P. Losman gone!!! He was a nightmare even as a back up.

Jason Peters gone!!! He came back from his hold out so fat he could'nt walk. How he made the pro-bowl is a mystery(most sacks let in as a tackle in the NFL in 2008). Enjoy him Eagles fans, he's a scum bag and he sucks.

Derrick Dockery gone!!! He was a surprise disappointment. He was one of the worst LG I've ever watched.

Melvin Folwer!!! One of the smallest weakest centers in the league and was down right stupid. Small and dumb, he won't be missed.

Ko Simpson at safety, NOT STARTING!!! He might as well have played 50 yards off the ball. Slow, can't tackle he flat out sucks. Half the time he just got in the way.

Keith Ellison at OLB, NOT STARTING!!! I don't even know where to begin. Long story he is a special teamer at best.

Robert F'in Royal, GONE!!! Robert, get the F out of Buffalo, good bye, pack yur shat and leave. I would have paid for his plane ticket if the Bills would have cut him mid-season. He single handly cost the Bills 2 wins last year.

Every one of these guys is already replaced with a future star or the job is up for grabs by multiple high draft picks. Except for Losman, Fitzpatrick scares me but he has looked sharp but with a drastically revamped O-line(not one 2008 starter return to the same spot), hopefully Fitzpatrick's services will not be needed.

SORRY FOR THE BLOG. I'm done... for now, maybe.

I see your points on the upgrades. Plus, I'm worried to contradict you in case you drop one of those atomics on me.

No atomic ones currently in the tank. The Cleveland area Taco Bells must put something special in their sauce.

The Bills will continue to be garbage until one of two things happen. 1. Elephant Ears either dies or sells the Team. 2. Elephant Ears brings in a real Head Coach. To the Trent Edwards lovers, I have never seen a more overrated, bitch of a QB in my life. 90% of Bills Fans through JP under the bus because of piss poor coaching and upper management. Its only a matter of time for Trent "Made of Glass" Edwards.

Snowed in at work and thought it might be cool to re-visit the Pre-Season win polls.

Bills had 6 wins BTW.

I was way optimistic about the Bills this year. The Bills just find new ways to lose every time, though, as a Bills fan ( I lived near there for most of my life, so I root for them as well), I guess one has to be used to it by now.

They really need to revamp their O-Line and Trent Edwards really surprised me this year, in a very bad way.
