I really wouldnt mind the Red Sox get someone like Wagner. They only have 1 lefty in the bullpen and they are really going to need someone to pitch to all those leftys in the Yankees lineup in the wiffle ball stadium should they make the playoffs and have to face them.

The "screw the Red Sox" part just seemed odd to me.

And Fenway isn't a wiffle ball stadium? The Green Monster can be used as target practice every time up and the Pesky poll is almost as bad as that....just don't hit it to center field or right center and you'll be a HOF'er....look how Boggs used that wall....they also made scrubs and castoffs into stars in that stadium- Marty Barrett, Nick Esasky, BIG PAPI, Ellis Burks....I can go on and on.

Oh please. Look up where the homerun hitters from both teams hit them this year. Ortiz has 3 homeruns to left field in Fenway and the 3 he hit over the Monster were 375 plus. Look up Johnny Damons homeruns every single one is to that short porch. Look up stats before you say dumb things like calling David Ortiz a scrub. Nick Swisher is a scrub and Nick Swisher has 20 homeruns thanks to that field.

Why would the Mets put him on waivers instead of trying to get another player for him, or why not keep him instead? Are they seeing something that they aren't talking about?

Nick Swisher has 17 hrs on the road and 3 at home.

Exactly my point. Ortiz has 3 homeruns over the left field wall but he called him a scrub. Swisher has 3 of his 17 @ home so can you blame the stadium on him too?

As always, you can look this crap up before spouting off.

Park Factors 2009:

HR:

1- Yankee Stadium 1.409 (1.000 is the baseline. Yankee Stadium has 40.9% more HR than average)

25- Fenway .834

But, then:

2B:
2- Fenway 1.334
26- Yankee Stadium .881

They're both bandboxes in their own right. The Monster allows for a ton of doubles. Conversely, the ridiculous wind tunnel to right allows for way too many HRs at Yankee Stadium.

Ok here is my take on Billy and then the Mets
I don't want him as a Cub, becuase they are done. They did not lose to many games because of the closer I know Gregg blow games but they are only 6 but they lost more without hitting then he lose blowing the game.
they have lose games because they can't hit when needed and Sorino is a fracking waste of money as well as Bradley
and even Ramirez, And then the pitching is a waste too. And the Bull pen come really that is a non factor most of this season.

And it seems the Mets can put everyone on Waivers and then Omar can leave now while he still has
some dignity what a fracking joke the mets have been this season. I think even worst he the Cubs have been
as far as bone head moves or even releases for that matter.

Just my 2 cents
