Bit the big one, and bought a bunch of cards from Burbank...

I find it amazing how hard it is to find the base cards from the 90's, but the parallels pop up more frequently. I hate dropping $1 on a common, but nobody else lists them! Burbank listed a bunch of Pacific parallels and other stuff. So I finally dipped in.

It got me closer to a couple of Pacific Rainbows...

^^^^^Crazy thing is I still need the Holo-Gold, Opening Day and Platinum Blue for this set!

Updated my Gaetti list, and there's still more they have listed I need! It'll never end!

Anyone else give in and overpay for the tough ones from Burbank?

Nice stuff. I don't think I'd be over estimating if I said 20% of my player collections came from Burbank. Sometimes they are more than worth the price

Fantastic cards! Buying from Burbank is a necessary evil but man does it feel good when you get those cards in hand.

I've gotten a few orders from them over the past few weeks, got lucky with some severely underpriced Glaus cards that I really needed. I know, Burbank, underpriced? But yes, I was able to pick up several cards from them for less then on COMC or Sportlots.

Nice additions! I haven't purchased anything from them yet...but it will happen very soon as they have quite a few "common" Edgars that I need.

I needed about 400 cards, mostly commons, for a few dozen various sets from the '80s, '90s and '00s.
Some sets I only needed one or two cards, so it would have cost a fortune in shipping to buy from lots of different sellers.
When I went to Burbank's site, I was reluctant to pay 25 cents each for mostly worthless commons, but it turned out to be $100 well spent.

It was a great relief to complete about 45 sets in one swoop and to mark off the checklists to sets I started decades ago.
It seems like a lot of money at first, but when you get all those cards that you need, either for complete sets or player collections, with one low shipping price, it's definitely worth it.

They're the single largest place that's helped contribute to my Belle PC other than eBay.

I spent the better part of this month's card budget with them. I generally wish the prices were lower, but so much of what they offer I can't find elsewhere so I have no complaints.

I picked up 6-7 cards from them last week for my Roberto Kelly collection, all late 90s Pacific stuff just doesn't turn up anywhere. They had a buy 2 or more, get free shipping thing going, so I think it worked out very well. What I saved in shipping made up for the one card I considered to be overpriced. Now I just wish they would list more stuff I need at similarly decent prices. Getting tired of seeing the $0.50 cards I need listed for $4.32 or $6.47 (where to they get those prices?).

Awesome pick ups! I have bought two large Dawson orders from Burbank about 10 years ago

I've overpaid for some Jevon Kearse rookies and would've paid 5x's more than I did. They stock rare cards that you might not see for years, so the price for those amount to peanuts to me.
