Thanks Bilko! He certainly proved in Chicago that he is a good GM, and I am sure he will do the same in Florida.

Anyway, just another single card for the quest came in today, but it is a nice one!

Great pickups Gonz and a great idea for a collection.

I've been kicking the idea around of getting some of the 71-72 Topps I have incoming graded. I've read that PSA is better for vintage, but BGS is easier on the wallet. Also, I know what the OC tag is, but how much does that effect value?

Another fantastic addition!!

True Story... although i was only 2 or 3 years old when this card came out, it some how ended up in my childhood sports card collection. A collection that i built up in my elementary school and Jr High school days through trades and buying wax packs. My childhood collection endured many moves and even a fire when i was very young and i still own that same Bobby Hull card to this day(Mines an O Pee Chee though). Except mine is probably a PSA 2

Thanks for the comments guys.

Philly, I am pretty much a novice when it comes to graded. I honestly have no clue if the off-centering really affected the prices of the 9s. I won both of them via best offer, so I was happy with what I paid for them. I have always preferred BGS over PSA, but it seems PSA is more abundant when it comes to vintage, especially hockey.

Bilko- haha, that is one tough card man.

Dave, thanks as always. I also enjoy following your pickups and your 71-72 set!

Just one more in today. Have a couple more incoming from 1 seller so hopefully I should be able to post a multi-pickup day soon.

Thanks Dave, Mulvey's hairdo was the first thing I noticed about that card. It's awesome.

Anyway, got these in yesterday, but didn't have time to upload them until today.

This card is an error card. They misspelled his first name. It should be Germaine Gagnon.

Been kinda slow on these lately. Haven't had nearly as much spending money. Anyway, got these 3 in yesterday. I meant to post them yesterday, but completely forgot.

Long time in between updates, I apologize for that. Really haven't been many of these up other than Buy It Now's that I think are a bit high. Anyway, this one came in yesterday.

Thanks. The quest so far has been really frustrating in a sense that a lot of these rarely pop up on eBay, and the ones that are listed have BINs that are higher than what I am willing to pay. Also, one seller always seems to have a bunch up for bids, but his shipping charges are absurd.

well that sucks that it has been frustrating but just be patient and the ones you need will show up and they will be the price you want to pay.

Essentially bring this thread back from the dead. It really has been that long in between pickups for my quest. Anyway, this came in on Friday. Should have two more here soon.

nice additions Bobby. I really like the team card.

Thanks Dave, originally I wasn't going to go for any of them. Especially since they did not show up on the team checklists via beckett.
