Blake Beavan is starting to improve...

He started off the year 0-4 giving up 20 runs in 18 innings. Since then, he has gone 4-0 giving up 11 runs in 41.1 innings.

Does anyone think this is a sign that he will get promoted anytime soon?

He'll be in AA rather soon I think, he's starting to figure out how to pitch and I think he's gained some of his FB back from his HS days too.

Yeah I really hope he gets out of Bakersfield... the Cal League is hell for some pitchers... same with Michael Main, 3Ks 0BBs in 2IP so far for him.

I hope you are right. If he continues to pitch the way he has, do you think that he has a shot to be a September Callup? With all the good pitchers in the organization it's doubtful, but who knows.

No way, I can see Kiker getting called up though, he's been pretty damn good and I haven't heard much about him really on here.
