I think he's a decent investment heading into next season. I don't think he's the next Greg Oden, and it was an unfortunate injury in the pre-season he sustained. My question for you is, what do you feel his best RC will be?

I know the Exquisite isn't an auto, but it always seems to carry a premium long term. Will Contenders carry over into basketball and be the premier auto card from Panini or will it be National treasures? Any feedback is appreciated.

Exquisite should still be big even without the auto.

It's tough to know with Panini until all the products come out - From the current info I'd guess National Treasures will end up being the top one.

Other than that IMO the next top 3 would probably be Contenders (on card auto, "true rc", and should be a widely collected set each year). LCM - Mirror Auto Parallel (One of Donruss/Panini's top products in other sports, I'm going by the popularity in other sports here) and then probably the Leaf Limited - auto RC (again a higher end product, and nice looking card, especially the ones with patches).

Other than that I'd say maybe something from Rookies & Stars - just because it was a popular product and the Topps Chrome refractors have seemed to hold their value and may be a nice Topps card to pick up.

That's a really good question.

I think the Exquisite is the one that could give you the most 'Pop' when/if he does come back.

But for Autographs, I think you can't go wrong with either Contenders or NT (When it comes out)

His cards can't really get much lower (unless he has a set-back) or until he comes back, so you're in a good spot either way you go.
