Hello All

I saw Cisco's post on the blowout team break, and was interested but it was full. I took a stroll to blowout and have decided to send in my own shipment of game used/autos to try my luck with some wax. I'll be sending in the minimum as I don't too much available to trade. I was was looking for opinions on what to get with what I send in. I'll only be asking baseball in return so here's what I'd be able to choose from.

12 cards for a 1999 Fleer Tradition Update Baseball Factory Set
52 Cards for a 2003 Upper Deck Prospect Premieres Baseball Hobby Box
80 Cards for a 2004 Upper Deck SP Prospects Baseball Hobby Box
28 cards for a 2005 Topps Total Baseball Hobby Box
68 cards for a 2005 Upper Deck Reflections Baseball Hobby Box
180 cards for a 2005 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Baseball Hobby Box
36 cards for a 2006 Topps Rookies 1952 Edition Baseball Hobby Box
20 cards for a 2006 Topps Baseball Factory Walmart Set - Mickey Mantle
100 cards for a 2006 Tristar Prospects Plus Baseball Hobby Box
36 cards for a 2006 Upper Deck Future Stars Baseball Hobby Box
72 cards for a 2007 Donruss Elite Extra Edition Baseball Hobby Box
16 cards for a 2007 Fleer Baseball Box
16 cards for a 2007 Topps Baseball Factory Set - Retail Set
12 cards for a 2007 Topps Series 2 Baseball Blaster 20 Pack Box
40 cards for a 2007 Upper Deck Future Stars Baseball Hobby Box
44 cards for a 2008 Bowman Baseball Hobby Box
48 cards for a 2008 Donruss Elite Extra Edition Baseball Hobby Box
52 cards for a 2008 Donruss Threads Baseball Hobby Box
60 cards for a 2008 Topps Co-Signers Baseball Hobby Box
24 cards for a 2008 Topps Series 1 Baseball Hobby Box
40 cards for a 2008 Topps Series 1 Baseball Jumbo HTA Box
40 cards for a 2008 Tristar Projections Baseball Hobby Box
44 cards for a 2008 Tristar Projections High# Series Baseball Box
68 cards for a 2008 Tristar Signa Cuts 2 Baseball Hobby Box
60 cards for a 2008 UD SP Authentic Baseball Hobby Box

My Top 3 would be 2007 Elite, 2008 Elite, and 2008 Donruss Sports Legends (60/box). I was thinking either 2 boxes of 2008 Elite, or 1 box of 2008 Elite & 1 Box of Sports Legends. It doesn't appear as if much else would be worth ripping.

Let me know what you all think would be a good choice. Remember I am sending in between 100 & 110 cards so try and stick to that. Thanks!

I am due to receive 07 Triple Threads Football and 06 Legends Football.
This doesn't help since you are looking for baseball, but I would consider Triple Threads.

If I was going for it I would try to get a box of 2005 Reflections. Plenty of potential great "hits" with a lot of star/legend dual autographs, patch autographs, etc.

Try and send in a few more and get three 08 elites ;)

As it is, I've already pulled about half of what I have from the PC so that's def. not an option.

Hmmm I didn't even notice TTT on the list until I just looked. I've opened 1 box of triple threads in my life. It cost $200, and I ended up taking a $170 loss on that box so that's most likely not going to happen either. I know there are big hits in that, but I'd rather go for 10 hits, than 2 with a chance of hitting something big.

ffgameman - Could maybe do that and 1 box of 08 Elite. How many hits per box of Reflections?

If I recall correctly at least 3.

One dual autograph, one dual GU, and one "other" GU (either a plain GU, patch, patch autograph, etc).

I have opened around three-four of the Reflection boxes. I have not pulled a patch but have pulled a Reyes/Wright dual autograph /99, McPherson/Youkilis /99, and a couple of decent GU combination cards.

I actually counted out over 200 cards to send in, so I'm giving some serious consideration to an 05 Ultimate Collection box... or a bunch of EEE boxes.

Best of luck Pills. I saw the Ultimate, but I'd almost have to double where I'm currently at to get up there.

I know... I have about 60 waiting to go, 15 I've emailed them about to see if they are sendable or not and I'm trying to get a couple trades done to knock the remainder out.

Terry, you're really gonna give up some PC (even if it low-end stuff), for just one box, that could be a major bust?

Yea, I'm not really that worried about it. There not real deep PC... a few I got for my Bday from Ginter & SPx, and a couple Orioles game used that are crap. I'm not going REAL deep into the PC.

I'm probably leaning towards 2 boxes of Elite at the moment, and would hope for a hot box.

It really geared toward helping them out not you.Send in 100+ game used and get 10 game used back. You might get lucky with a big hit but you also might win the lottery.Probably not going to happen.Unless you are someone that has hundreds of game used already at you disposal and it's not going to affect your collection any I wouldn't go for this. You are most likely going to end up disappointed.JMHO.

Thanks for the opinions everyone... I threw in some extra stuff to the lot I had ready, and threw it up on eBay with what I thought was a semi-high BIN. I had an offer of $275 on the lot this morning. Blowout is def out of the question. I could get 5 boxes of Elite for the $275 instead of 2... not that I'm going to blow it all on boxes now anyways. So here's the question. Do I take the $275, or counter?? Am I getting a decent deal with $275 in return, or could I get more do yall think??

Here's the auction
