I actually like the prospect selection in 08 better. I did get a box of 07 earlier, the misc hits kind of put me off it though.

Ugh. Had five boxes of 04 SP Prospects in my cart and then decided to browse around to find a cheap box to buy. Returned to my cart and somehow managed to get the very last box before it sold out.

Here's the total damage:

I think so. It was a good rookie class, and the on card auto's are great and I personally love the clean design. Press Pass is never worth as much, since it's not licensed by the NBA - but at that price you can get some value. Now I'm wanting to get one :lol: I only passed because I got a box from blowout when it released and pulled a D. Rose auto, so already was lucky enough to pull the one card I really wanted.

I had a case of 2008 Donruss Threads in my cart at $799, kept thinking about it, went back to check again and the price in my cart was now $1100 or something stupid silly like that. Needless to say, I did not complete checkout. I got absolutely nothing today. I wish I had known about the Box Specials link on Blowout's homepage, I would have waited there instead of for the email that didn't get delivered until after this section had been thoroughly picked over.

just finished reading the tome here. It looks like a good thing I gave up after 5 hours and went to bed because the sale appears to have gone downhill.

My haul:

- 07 SP Legendary Cuts box - 11.27 and kicking myself I didn't hit Qty=2 before I BIN'ed it.
- 2 boxes of 2008 goudey baseball retail - 11.27 each (to continue with my setbuilding - more base cards to enjoy, don't need the hits as much)
- 2 boxes of 2008 UD documentary - 11.27 each (two more boxes closer to set completion, I hope).

Kershaw and Longo are the only hits and the SOTF are numerous if you're planning to open. If Kershaw or Longo go MVP/CY then the cases will turn up, but a very tough break.

Long day here, came away with nothing from the sale. I was so disappointed that I almost bought the Star Trek- Deep Space 9 Hobby box just to bust something. meh.
