Yeah...

Strasburg is not the second coming of Prior. He will probably have TJ surgery, that is a long ways away from Prior's injury woes. So Tim Hudson is the 2nd coming of Prior too, right? He had TJ, or Josh Johnson, the list goes on. TJ does not equal Mark Prior, that is pretty obvious.

May he end up like Prior, sure, it's possible. Anything is possible.

I think everyone is bashing the prediction because it was made AFTER the fact. If he had said the same thing when Strasburg was called up, it would have been considered a BOLD prediction. Saying it after finding out Strasburg is likely to have TJ surgery is just lame. Has nothing to do with this being a card collecting board, just common sense if you ask me.
