Il start and i say all players that went to University of Arizona are going to have either a monster season, bounce back year or breakout season.

-Gilbert Arenas... this year he is strictly business.
-Richard Jefferson- is the 4th option on the Spurs and should thrive
-Chaning Frye- was 8th overall pick and will now show his offensive skill set in PHX and the team and coaching staff loves the kid.
-Jerryd Bayless- 2nd year will take big jump in production when he finally gets PT and Bayless is to talented a scorer to not get minutes at some point and when he does look out.
-Chase Budinger- For some reason it seemed every team besides Houston didnt like him or think he would translate well to the NBA.... they were wrong. He is going to show he is a multi talented player with a great jumpshot and underrated passing skills.
-Andre Iguodala- With Andre Miller gone AI shows why he is an Allstar talent and gets Philly to the playoffs
Jordan Hill- If he doesnt get lost in the shuffle in NYC he will flash his talent and be a defensive presence. Think very raw and early on Chris Bosh

The STARZ are allinged for all these former wildcats to have great seasons.
Does anyone else agree, cuz to me it seems each guy is in the perfect situation and their time to shine is 09.

Agree with these 2. Marcus Thornton or Blake Griffin for ROY this year.

Love a bold Wildcats prediction 8-)

Really like what Chase is doing down in Houston so far. Hope Channing can get his act together back home in Phoenix.

Don't know how bold this is........and I hate to say it as a Bulls fan - but I think their going to take a step back this year

The rookies - Johnson and Gibson have looked good, so maybe they'll click and prove me wrong, but at this point I see them 9 or 10 in the East.

My AZ predictions:

1. Buddinger looks like THE steal of the draft.
2. Arenas and the Wiz will underachieve again (Jamison already hurt)
3. Iguodaula isn't as good as he thinks he is, and they have no PG to set him up or rein him in.

Non AZ predictions:
1. My man Curry will struggle 'cuz both Nellie and his team are a mess. I think his prices will drop temporarily, so I'm saving up now. He will be a very good starter at some point, but not this year.
2. The Cavs will get some Old School Shaq in the playoffs, and even though both Orlando and Boston are reaally good, they will win the East, which for the first time in a long time, will be better than the West.
3. Blake Griffin will NOT win ROY.
4. The Mavs have "figured it out" under Carlisle, make a big trade at deadline, and make deep run in playoffs.
5. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the Blazers are still a year away. They have so many good young guards, but can they play them all?
6. The Suns will be fun to watch again.

Learn to appreciate Eric Gordon. That's all I'm going to say... this kid is going to be REALLY special in years to come.

I thought he was going to be special since college, he's just gotta get out of LA in coupla years.

Damn straight, check out the avatar. He has the PERFECT game to be an All Star NBA 2-guard. I saw every game he played in college and despite being young, he had an uncanny ability to slash to the hole and get to the line. He's a great shooter who can drain 3's and get to the line 10+ times/game. Watch out.

Along the same lines, my bold prediction is that the Clippers will go to the playoffs.

So far so good for the predictions i know its 1 game but I had a feeling Gilert Arenas was baaaccckkk and on a mission and after 29 and 9 with many athletic attacking moves he sure looked good vs mavs.

Chase Budinger played 15 min and got a lotta run in the 4th quater and had an explosive dunk and finished with 6 pts but looks like he belongs.

I know its early but these are great signs specially Arenas

They've impressed me so far. Even their 4 losses to good teams were close games. Then win 3 games vs. lousy teams. They have a lot of winnable games left in November, and that could get them going. However, they are the Clippers so that probably means a big injury or lousy trade is probably right around the corner...
