That is a Great PC! Thank you for sharing!

I love Des Moines. Isn't there a Bob Feller museum somewhere along HWY 80???

shanks25-i remember you, but cannot recall the detail. please enlighten me. :)

Adamsince1981-feller's museum is in Van Meter, maybe 45-minutes from here. i have never been, but i have heard good things about it and plan to go at some point.

cubfan131-do you ever go to the urbandale legion show? i set up there (only show i set up at) every month. not a great show by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a time to hang out with collectors and talk cards.

steve-a-reno-you, my friend, have quite a stellar collection yourself (that i wouldn't mind having!). by "family-that-isn't-my-family", i meant the freedom community. LOL

I've been to the legion show once. I echo your statements about the show. For anyone who lives in the DSM area I highly recommend a trip to the Bob Feller museum. I was lucky enough to go when Bob was in town and he got into a conversation with my grandpa for about 45 min after closing time. It was neat to see. It was just two old guys sitting and shooting the breeze.

Rob, I had a 10 minute conversation....wait for it...with myself one day after I didn't get off the HWY and take a look see. I keep asking myself "Why didn't you stop?" and "are you or are you not a baseball fan?".

I was really hard on myself...I simply must stop next time.
