I didn't even know they made those game used.

When I saw it I had to have it as I didnt even know they made GU versions. I got luckey. I traded a Lefty Gomez cut auto #ED 1/32 with a BV of $175.00 straight up for it which I thought was a heck of a deal.

Sweet Show! The autographed game-used bat barrel is my favorite as well. Do you know how much his full game-used bats sell for? I'm curious as to if they sell for about as much as his game-used bat barrel cards, which is sometimes the case. Now the only thing you need is a 2008 Topps Sterling jumbo patch. I've passed on a lot of the players from the set, but I had to have one of The Hawk. I think this is from an Expos jersey, but I'm not sure. What do you two Dawson collectors think? There's an Expos logo patch on Ebay right now from this set, but it's fake.

I am the wrong person to ask about actual full size GU pieces as I have not ever looked into it since I dont have the room to display those items. Your 1/1 is sweet and I really do need to get one. If its ever FT please let me know. I saw the one on Ebay and its sweet. Why are you so certain its fake?

I am 1000% certain the logo patch is a fake. I posted it yesterday.

1.) The seller is a known patch faker who has been called out on here dozens of times.
2.) There have been plenty of these sold with plain swatches in them, so it would be pretty easy to buy one of those and swap it out for a patch.
3.) Private user ID on the auction

Basically - Really sick patch + Mooresville, NC = FAKE


As far as the real versions of that card, I pride myself on my Dawson collection and I wouldn't want one of those if it was offered to me for free. They marked the card Expos, used an Expos patch, and then decided to recycle a pic of Dawson in a Cubs uniform from 2007 Triple Threads.

You mean to tell me they couldn't find/afford an Expos picture? Pure laziness, and I think it ruins the card.

Sorry for the rant. Just my opinion.

I also forgot to add - I have seen a Game used / auto'd bat for about $350-400. I plan to pic one up someday.
