Bowman '48 Review...

Sounds like a good lower priced box to open.

One thing I wanted to point out though (and could be wrong, but...), in the review it speaks about the potential value of the rookie cards being less because it is an unlicensed product....but I don't think that's the case.
Someone on here pointed out that Topps and UD still have the NBA license for a couple more months, so from my understanding that product is licensed by the NBA. If it wasn't they couldn't have the team logos and what not that you see on the other cards from the break.

Though they may still be viewed like press pass/sage, since they aren't in their NBA uniforms.

About the NBA license...

You are correct that Topps and Upper Deck can use the license up until the 09-10 season officially kicks off. However, if you look at the rookies out of Bowman '48 and Topps base product, the rookies are not in their NBA uniforms since both Upper Deck and Topps were not at the rookie photoshoot. I should reword that part of the review.
