I have a newbie question.
Whats the difference between Bowman, BowChro, and Bowman Draft, and what is your favorite to buy?

Bowman- bowman base and bowman chrome. veterans, rookies, and prospects.

Bowman Chrome- all chrome cards. veterans, rookies and prospects

Bowman Draft- autos of all recent draft picks, chrome and base. Rookies and prospect cards.

draft is the best choice almost always but the boxes are also more expensive.

Thanks. Between Bowman and Bowman Chrome, which usually has the better prospect stash?

For 2010, it goes like this

Bowman: Expensive
Bowman Chrome: Dead on the vine
Bowman Draft Picks: cant be as bad as Bowman Chrome, will not approach Bowman Wax prices at their peak

It really depends because the checklist is different for each product. You can usually count on Draft to be a good prospect product because it is ALL prospects, including autos of a ton of first round draft picks.

Bowman and BC have some strong players on the checklist but will also have some junk of old guys that are likely never going to reach the majors. These two products are often made or broken by their auto checklists as far as prospects go. They are also fun products if you also want some veteran cards, although the money from these products comes from the big name prospect parallels and autos.

It varies on the years.

2005- BC was much better
2006- BC was slightly better
2007- BC was better
2008- Bowman was much better
2009- Bowman was better
2010- Bowman (looks to be) much better
