I am primarily a "football guy" but grab a nice Cal Ripken card every now and then because that's who I grew up idolizing.

The point of this thread is exactly in the title. I see you guys raging about those superfractors and this product altogethor. (I can see why, those supers are amazing looking.) I see that a case of this stuff is only $600ish. Pretty good as far as what cases I look at run.

Is it worth grabbing a case? Or is all the good stuff dried up?

Also- are those on card autos? I couldn't tell.

Any info is appreciated.

miggy, if Snyper creates fifteen threads like this, he would get the same treatment that people give you. I'm not a prospector Snyper, so I don't know.

Last time I checked, Snyper didn't post 600 times a day and tell us every time his brain actually comes up with a thought about any innane thing.

I have my fair share of enemies, and that's fine. But this is an honest question as I'd like to know what the deal is before I dropped some coin.

Make sure when you rip, wear a cup. My balls are always sore after a case break.

Huh? It's the most consistent break in the hobby. You never end up being out 75-90% of your initial investment like most other breaks.

Ok, thanks man. I'm not either but I figured I'd crack a case since I can do $600 and it looks like some big stuff can be had.

Notice how he has been a member for 3 months longer than you.... yet he has 1/5th the posts??

To the OP.... its a fun rip. Odds are you wont make your money back... but with all the draft products.... its a wait and see product. If you rip... stash most of it away and wait for them to mature.

You have seen over the past year or 2 that a few go nuts if they do something in the bigs....

Jay Bruce 2005
Troy Tulowitzki 2005
Hunter Pence 2006
Edinson Volquez 2005

So 2008 prospects might see a boost come 2010.... but you could get lucky and pull a nice parallel... base or auto. If you have the money.... id try it.

Stanton's still out there as well as Collier I think. Dont forget you should get an aflac or maybe two in your case as well. Chrome is always a fun rip. Good luck if you decide to get one.

I'm trying to figure out if his head hurts all the time from trying to think or not, because it's empty.

Hmmm I just noticed that there is just regular 2008 Bowman Chrome cases as well. Is there a difference, or is the Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects where it's at?

Most of the big money supers have been pulled. I believe Stanton and maybe even Iona are out there. I think there is a good shot at hitting a quality red refractor as I havn't seen a whole lot of those up. Either way if you pull some decent parallel autos and maybe a few quality AFLACS, you should do fine.

All depends on which guys you're looking for. Though, for most of this board, the release of Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects is considered a National Holiday.

No, dont buy 08 chrome. If your case hit is a magglio ordonez gold or orange ref, you are going to be pissed. Chrome Draft is the way to go.
