So any idea how the breaker handled the rights to the contract?

It says that he will use the proceeds from the contract to basically give all the people in the break a free break (or maybe a few free breaks judging from the amount that is going for).

With my luck, I'll finally pull a superfractor from Bowman and it will be some 53 year old fat guy in his Team Bowman jersey.

I was watching the break when the breaker pulled the contract. I am involved also with a few spots in the break. Some items where discussed and the decision is to sell on Ebay and use proceeds to fund another break for all participants involved.

I hit a Red Hultzen auto, plus a blue Hultzen auto in the same case. It's been a great break for me.

Check the recording at the 19:26 mark in the video.

Hoopster..awesome pulls! Was this like an 8 case group buy? Did everyone get a team..what was cost, etc?

It was a 8 case break, 4 jumbo's and 4 hobby cases. There were 254 slots in the break, player slots, prospect player case slots, etc. The randow draw gave me picks 5,9,18,61,222. Slots were $40 each.

You did very well for a $200 investment! Should be able to make at least $800? And I'm sure the red and blue Hultzens are just a few of the cards you got !

The break analysis:
So $40 * 254 = $10,160
4 jumbo cases at $1,000 presale = $4,000
4 hobby cases at $750 presale = $3,000
Total cost = $7,000
Paypal Fees = approximately $300 unless people pay gift
Package and Shipping Costs assuming average purchase is 5 spots/insurance/DC = $200
Total Costs = $7,500
Profit = $2,660
Time to sort/communication/getting packages ready = 10 hours?
Rate = $266 per hour, investment of around $7,500 for approximately 33 % return

The host didn't get pre-order prices. He bought the cases from a member that is either on here or another site. He bought the cases at market prices 2 weeks before release.

You are waaaaaaaaaay off on your figures.

Oh in that case it was probably closer to break even...prices have really risen a lot...didn't realize cases are like $1,300+ now

Well back on topic, nice break and congrats on you guys pulling the golden ticket!
