Bowman Jumbo.. how could i miss you..

Hey everyone, so i bought 2 more hobby boxes of Bowman today. As i was sorting through those 2 boxes, i decided to combine chrome and bowman from my two jumbos from last week. so i pick up the bowman base divided section... and see a prospect orange card. i Look who it is, and it says casey crosby. so i was quite happy with that find, but out slides from beneath it...

Stephen Strasburg bowman base auto =DDDD

needless to say i was happy, as i ran around my house shaking. just wanted to share that with everyone as im still shaking. Thanks a lot =D

Ummmmmm holy crap. Thank you for posting this...it made me go through a box from my horrific breaks last week (jumbo and hobby case)....The last card in my base set in the FIRST BOX was a Strasburg base auto. What the hell... :grouphug:

Did you think you had only gotten 2 autos in the box or was it an extra hit (4th auto)?

Congrats on the pull, makes me want to go out and get another box.

He was just going through his commons and base, found an orange non chrome prospect, behind it was the Strasburg.

I busted a half case of 07 BCDP and was less than thrilled. Going through my sort I found a gold version of the Heyward/Gilmore dual auto just hanging on to another card...Bowman is kind of notorious for this kind of thing!

*NOTE* I sold it immediately on a BIN/Best Offer for $300 delivered. Wish I'd sat on the thing until now

As for the other card Casey Crosby is a very local kid. Like his mother lives about 20 minutes form me and I have seen
him pitch the last 2 years of his High School. His Older Brother was in the Yankees Org and the other play football some where.

Also his mother writes a column for one of the local papers here. Ok I know what does this have to do with the Strasburgh he
found???? Absolutely nothing. LOL
