I found a nice gold auto for a decent price, but upon further inspection there is a scratch just under the auto. It does not touch the auto so wondering if this can be removed? It looks worse than some that I have seen on other Sterlings. If it can be removed, what is the best way to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated and may help me decide to go back and get it. Thanks in advance.

I have had people tell me they had positive results with a terry cloth, but this is only for the very light scratches and roller marks. Make sure you avoid the edges and corners.

A microfiber is good for finger prints and basically anything else except scratches and roller marks
